My work is rooted in direct engagement with nature and the immediacy of working in the moment. I respond intuitively to shifting light, color, and spatial rhythms, using both landscape and abstraction to explore states of visual attention and immersion.
Rather than describing a specific place, the paintings translate the experience of being present within it—where observation, memory, and sensation intersect. I allow the process to remain open and responsive, letting each medium shape the outcome. I work across pastel, oil, acrylic, and ink, choosing materials that support spontaneity and physical engagement.
The work reflects an ongoing inquiry into perception and originality, emphasizing presence, movement, and the quiet intensity of looking.
